Symbolism and signification of the Propaground logo and colors :

The red square represents the material reality and the earth mother. It’s the portal, the door, from where came all reality. It’s also the place where the ideas born into material reality.

The white parts in the square represent life’s energies like water and light. They are giving the proper energy to create and grow.

The red circle represents the seed. It’s the support of spiritual incarnation. It is the core from where life born in the primal womb of earth. It grows in tree emerging from the underground and deploying leaves. This is the artist’s movement, growing in a fertile garden and creating fruits in conscious process of culture.

The white leaves represents the organs of inspiration and expiration. They absorb light and nutritive elements and support the fruits.

Black represents Te Korekore (the realm of potential being). It thus symbolises the long darkness from which the earth emerged, as well as signifying Rangi – the heavens, a male, formless, floating, passive force.

Red represents Te Whei Ao (coming into being). It symbolises Papatuanuku, the earth-mother, the sustainer of all living things, and thus both the land and active forces.

White represents Te Ao Marama (the realm of being and light). It symbolises the physical world, purity, harmony, enlightenment and balance.
